God Bless the USA

September 11 is always a day of mixed emotions. Sorrow, for the many Americans who perished on that day ten years ago, and for those who have given the ultimate sacrifice since then. Pride, in our resilience and strength. Anger, at those who have wounded us. Above all, though, we must be thankful for our troops, who continue to fight for our freedoms and security, so that we may remain safe and carry on our lives in this great country without having to live under fear and threat of constant attack. God Bless our Troops and our allies, and may there be closure to this War on Terror, and acknowledgement from the Islam community that further extremism will not be tolerated, and instead will be self-policed and pulled by the root at every opportunity. One can only hope and pray.

South Carolina Unemployment Insurance Rates Drop for 2011

Fantastic news for employers – South Carolina is retroactively adjusting its ridiculous unemployment insurance rates for 2011! You will be receiving a notice with preliminary revised rates, and subsequently receive correspondence advising you of your final revised rates. As many employers pay their unemployment insurance taxes in full by the second quarter of a given year, we expect that the overpayments will be refundable, and expect to have more info soon on how to get these funds back into your bank accounts.
